Employee Spotlight: Interview with Dr. Manuela Tumiati

How long have you been at Aiforia, and what do you do?

I’m a fresh recruit, I joined last January. As a Project Specialist, my role is primarily to develop and validate AI models for product development, as well as for Custom AI Service projects.

How was your experience first joining Aiforia and your team at the company?

I was positively impressed by the cooperation, peer support and genuine enthusiasm I found at Aiforia.

What is your favorite part about your job?

I absolutely enjoy how dynamic my job is: one day I might be working on prostate cancer, and the following day on breast cancer. It is highly engaging and rewarding, and a continuous learning process.

What do you do for fun?

I’m a mixed media abstract painter in my free time, and I love being at the sea sailing and kayaking in summer.

What’s something most people don’t know about you?

I’m a huge Tolkien geek, seriously.
