The regional health authority of Sardinia in Italy has selected Aiforia Technologies Plc as a partner for AI-assisted diagnostics. This collaboration involves utilizing Aiforia's clinical AI solutions to analyze biopsies from breast and prostate cancer patients.
The two-year contract is part of a procurement of seven hospitals in the region, which aims to improve the diagnostic workflow of the region's pathology laboratories. The provider in the deal is a GPI S.p.A. lead consortium, and Aiforia is one of their subcontractors.
