Role and Responsibilities

Aiforia is developing and launching a portfolio of software tools for the clinical diagnostics market, including AI models for diagnostic support of the world’s most prevalent cancers, to help pathologists accelerate sample review, improve diagnostic accuracy and enhance patient outcomes. The Project Manager for Clinical Products is a brand new role at Aiforia to help support the clinical product development team in this exciting field.

We are looking for a candidate who is a self-starter and enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative and innovative environment. The Project Manager reports to the Director of Clinical Products.


  • Managing and participating in the clinical AI model development projects from concept all the way to launch
  • Retaining the ownership of specific clinical AI models throughout the product life cycle
  • Proactively managing projects related to product adaptation to customer environments
  • Maintaining product documentation according to Aiforia’s Quality Management System guidelines
  • Acquiring and maintaining in-depth knowledge of Aiforia clinical products and technologies, the competitive landscape, and industry trends
  • Collaborating closely with the Product Manager for the Clinical Platform and UI/UX Design team to ensure a seamless user experience


  • Scientific or medical education (MSc or PhD in biomedical sciences or equivalent)
  • 5+ years of related work experience
  • Experience in diagnostic product development and/or product management, preferably also in regulatory approval processes
  • Knowledge and experience in working according to medical devices related Quality Management System (ISO13485) 
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and project management skills
  • Fluent written and oral English skills are a must - fluent Finnish as well would be preferable

In addition, any experience in the following areas will also be beneficial:

  • Customer service or other customer-facing roles 
  • Clinical product validation 
  • Prior knowledge of digital pathology or medical imaging software applications
