Role and Responsibilities

We are looking for a dedicated and self-driven Junior Software Tester to join our growing team. In this role, you will develop and maintain our test assets for manual product testing. You will work closely with the development team to ensure high quality standards of product for our customers in the healthcare industry.

In addition to implementing planned tests, the role of software tester will involve proactive testing, reporting new defects and supporting the development team to fix them. For this role you don’t need prior experience, you can be for example a recent graduate or a career changer with the willingness to learn, grow, and be part of a dynamic team!

Further responsibilities include:

  • Testing of Aiforia Platforms
  • Creating and maintaining test tickets
  • Bug reporting
  • Other tasks based on competence and interest, e.g. automatic testing, teaching artificial intelligence, customer support tasks

The role is based remotely, Helsinki Metropolitan Area. Preference is Uusimaa Region area but the right candidate can work remotely from other locations.

Requirements:

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluency in spoken and written English
  • MSc or BSc in Computer Science, Biomedicine or other applicable field

What is seen as an advantage: 

  • Experience in manual software testing 
  • Experience in automated software testing, i.e. with Robot Framework
  • Experience in in software development
  • Practical experience with modern test management, defect and requirement tools
  • Experience in histology/histopathology
